Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026. This policy explains what Ludemap collects when you plan trips on a shared map, and how we use it. Plain language first; we will update this page when practices change.

Who we are

Ludemap is a shared trip planner operated at ludemap.com. For privacy questions, send a privacy request to palmasopoo@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Account data — if you sign in (for example with Google): name, email, and profile image provided by the identity provider.
  • Guest session data — a session id and display name so you can join a trip without an account.
  • Trip content you add — places, itinerary days, notes, tasks, chat messages, map drawings, and related trip metadata inside rooms you create or join.
  • Technical logs — standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) needed to run and secure the service.

How we use data

We use this information to operate the shared map and itinerary, invite collaborators, improve reliability and safety, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information. AI-assisted planning may send trip context you choose to provide to our model providers solely to generate or edit trip content you requested.

Sharing

Trip content is visible to people who join that trip (including guests with the link). We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, auth, maps) as processors to run Ludemap. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.

Retention

We keep account and trip data while your account or trip exists, and for a reasonable period afterward for backups and abuse prevention. Guest trips may be shorter-lived. You can ask us to delete account-held data via the contact email above.

Your choices

You can plan as a guest, sign in to keep trips, leave a trip, or request access/deletion help. Do not put sensitive secrets into trip notes or chat. Map and place lookups may involve third-party map providers under their own terms.

Children

Ludemap is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
