A large and elaborate modern arts museum, featuring rotating visual exhibits. The museum also has a very elaborate children's section, featuring hands-on art exhibits and creative playthings. There's also a children's reading room in the basement with Chinese and English books. Bring your children.
它的故事
國立臺灣美術館（簡稱國美館）是中華民國第一間國家級美術館，總樓地板面積有49,604平方公尺，為全國最大的公共美術館。位於臺灣臺中市西區。1988年開館時為「臺灣省立美術館」，隸屬於臺灣省政府，1999年實行精省後，改隸行政院文化建設委員會（今中華民國文化部），並改為現名。
