Being there
Walk up the trail at dusk, or take the cable car, and wait at the top for the city lights.
The story
The tower stands on Namsan in the middle of the city. From the top you can see Seoul cut in two by the Han River. The railings below the observatory are covered in padlocks left by couples, some of them rusted.
