The story
Yongkang Street was a quiet lane beside civil servants' housing. Snack shops and ice shops opened one by one, and mango ice here became a dessert every visitor to Taiwan knows. The dumpling shop at the corner started as a small cooking-oil store before foreign media named it one of the world's top restaurants, and the whole street became famous with it.
